Meet 10am @ St Chad's School, Upper Green Lane, Brighouse HD6 2PA. 5 minutes from J25 of M62. Plenty of on-street parking around and about. Coffee and Cake at mine post ride if anyone fancies it 🙂
Ride - contains high levels of cheekiness, if that kind of thing bothers you then it's probably not for you. In it's defence, it's not the contentious kind of cheek, nothing sensitive etc. All manner of cut throughs, maybe a land fill site, a park or 2, the worlds steepest footpath (probably), urban woodland and heck even the odd bridleway. Nothing really technical, climbs are generally steepish but not overly long. 3 hours or so, depending on numbers.

Hard to say crezzy cos we all have different ideas about pace! Definitely not all out, lungs bursting but a bit faster than pootle would be my guess 🙂

I got all excited for a moment until I looked on a map and realised you meant north midlands rather than north north (Newcastle). 😆
Although I guess it is north of the M4 corridor so probably falls into the category of North as defined by 75% of STWers.
If you're going to be picky, I daresay there's plenty who would argue (arguing, on STW?!) that Newcastle isn't really "Northern" either 🙂
