Reading the predictions for the next 20 years was a wake up call! If I'm still here I'll be 85 and probably in a mobility scooter ☹️☹️☹️ Still as my wife lovingly pointed out " You've had your life" I've had a blast, ridden in some iconic destinations, met a lot of " interesting" 🤔 people on the way.
Dratted Pandemic has put a halt to my overseas adventures and the clock is counting down ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
But human nature being such I made the decision in 2009 to carry on MTBing despite being advised otherwise. I figured maybe another 10 years doing what I loved was preferable to wrapping myself up in bubble wrap. Now I've had those brilliant 10 years I still want more, some people are never satisfied 🙄
