I remember reading an article about 3 years ago in a magazine which I think was either Cranked or STW about epic guided rides in the PPS area.
The rides were on mostly natural trails, stuff you’d never get to without support and massively different from the bike park stuff or Morzine, Chatel, etc.
It was a point to point ride and involved a night or two staying up in the mountains. Involved a fair bit of pedalling but (again IIRC) they had a truck and a trailer that followed and was used for some of the climbs, I’m guessing they may have used the lifts for some bits too but not a great deal as much of it was away from the areas with lifts.
Did I dream this or does anyone else remember the article / who the guide was?
