You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Does such a thing exist as it would be ideal for my commute which can be a mixture of road/canal towpath/gravel depending on weather/mood/laziness
I can see Stvzo headlamps for e-bikes but not for your typical MTB light battery pack.
Something like the Sigma Aura also charges from a powerbank while in operation. A few self-contained front light do, iirc, but you’d need to find out first what modes support recharging in operation. I have a cheap Cree rechargeable which also operates at full chat via my battery-pack/s (otherwise used for a pair of SolarStorm X2 light units) or via my biggest (20k mah) USB powerbank. Goes for ages, but don’t use it because the beam/blue-white tunnel-vision is so bad!
I use a Raveman PR for what you want to ride (not strictly stvzo, similar) but yet to try if it charges while operating and in what modes. tbh a full charge of the unit lasts for something like 7 hours with more than enough light for my gravelly/dark roads/woodland/moorland bridleways type riding, so I haven’t yet needed battery backup for my (typically 1-3 hr max) rides. The low beam lasts around 22hrs+!
I can see the attraction of an stvzo head-unit for existing battery-pack owners, if from the view of lowering purchase costs/increasing access to road-specific beams.
Edit

Sorry don’t know why I originally typed that! Senility…
Cheers, I'll have a look at the Raveman lights, ideally I'd like to just charge the lights / battery at the end of the week so looking for lights that will do a weeks worth of commuting.
