Hi - sorry for this question but know nothing about tubeless at all having ridden with tubes for ever

Have bought a new 2011 Rocky Mountain Altitude 70 and its got tubeless DT Swiss rims and tubeless Maxxis tyres Ardent and Crossmarks)

At the moment there looks to be a tube in there

How do I go tubeless? I assume I need to buy valves and some sealant and that's it?

Thanks

Yep. If you're incredibly puny and have no arms you may need a compressor, otherwise just use a track pump like a normal person, it's easy to inflate.

You may need rim tape though, depends on the rims. If there aren't any spoke holes, you won't. If there are spoke holes, it might already be taped up.

The rims are x1600's and I think they are already taped - are shown as 'tubeless ready'
Thanks especially for the fast reply!
