Help please. My rear Hope Mono Mini is binding like hell. I've eased the pistons out, cleaned them and used fine emery to take off the clag but they won't push back in far enough.
Thanks in advance for any other tips.
Buy a new seal kit and a tub of rubber grease and rebuild the caliper. If you have the bore cap tool already, tis a simple and relatively cheap job.
Thought that might be the solution but I'm doing my MIAS this weekend and really wanted a cheap quick fix, never mind. Thanks for replying.
If they won't push back all the way, then they're either cocked in their bore and jammed, or you have too much fluid in the system. If the latter, then level up the master cyliner and loosen the cap before pushing the caliper pistons in.
