10 years gone today , Fife and Scotlands finest singer songwriter of his generation and the first band I ever saw live .

A mate at school had an uncle who was one of their roadies - allegedly, never offered up tickets!

Still touring and apparently the current line up still sound really good.

The theme from Restless Natives is my favourite thing they ever did.

The Big Day, Glasgow 1990...Big Country closed with an awesome set on a beautiful summers night....god knows how many people were watching but the crowd seemed to go on forever.....I still get goosebumps thinking about it. RIP Stuart.

Sadly missed indeed, but we went to see Big Country earlier this year and they were still great live. Stuart really was one of the greats though.

My favourite tracks would be Porrohman ,where the rose Is sown , Come back to Me or Restless Natives.

I like Lloyd Cole but like Mike Scott and The Waterboys even more. Still remember feeling kinda numb when the news reported Stuart Adamson had hung himself , such a tragic waste.

He was also an amazing guitarist !
One of the first bands that I got into aged 14 !

Inwards & Porrohman stand out for me.

I saw them live loads - couldn't bring myself to go and see the reunion
without S.A. - just wouldn't be the same.

RIP S.A.

Yep RIP Stuart 🙁

Saw them live loads of times. Been struggling with the idea of seeing them now but I think I will.

Bit of a fan, hence the username 🙂

Legend, dearly missed, The Crossing one of the best albums ever. New tour in February with Mike Peters taking Stuart's role. Go and see you won't be disappointed.
