Can't get my chain to stay on the top ring. I can feel there is too much tension in the cable because the lever needs a good hard push.
It's a 2010 Orange 5. Running SLX Double and Hope Bash ring with 1 spacer DS.
Just after some advice on how to fix this?
Btw, the L and H screw are set perfectly.

When was the inner cable last changed? Same question for the outers.
The inner cable is the first thing to look at replacing, with an eye on the condition of the outer cable too
I know what you mean. Last changes less than 2 months ago. It's only recently since I changed the middle and granny ring that I haven't been able to get it onto the middle ring.
Have you tried it with the chain off? This'll show up if it has anything to do with the rings/chain or if it's a problem between the mech and shifter
Not yet. Shall try it now.
Have you git the mech set at the correct height and is it aligned with the outer chainring?
