Lots of places cater for 6+ but all involve double beds & while we're all mates we're not that friendly.

Any ideas where to stay at end of March?

Take sleeping bags and share the double bed. No weirder than sharing a tent then.

this place had a variety of different bed layouts. Bunks, 2x singles in a room and doubles. Might be worth looking at whats available. We booked the whole place, but you dont have to i think.

Great clean and homely place with fire, loads of space and lots of showers etc:

I've stayed at the Littledean House Hotel before which was nice and cheap. Good restaurant if you like Indian 🙂

They have a couple of twin rooms and some family rooms. Pretty freaky museum down the road too

Update:
We stayed here http://www.castlemainmill.com in park end. Very bike friendly, 2 pubs & easy off road access to waymarked or off piste trails. Can't recommend them enough. There was even still warm from the oven cake for us when we arrived!
