Hi

Stripped the thread trying to remove the crank arm (Hence the request on the classified) Is there any way of removing it without scrapping it?

Thanks

Dunno if you can get helicoils in that size - is it not an unusual thread? A threaded insert could be made by an engineering shop id a helicoil is not available.

Ball joint splitter to remove the arm

Did the same thing to my race face cranks and had it sent off and an insert was installed by the lbs (i think they outsourced the job mind). It cost about 40 quid . Deffo worth a try.My crank is still going strong 3 years later
