Im stripping the frame down on my 5 spot and one of the little bolts that holds the mech hangar on has rounded and I cant get it off?

Any ideas ?

Can I buy the little bolts or will it be ok held in by one?

try knocking a small torq's bit in (support it from behind before you raise the hammer:-)

Yep tried that but that just slipped to!

Bloody thing.

Will have to carefully drill the head off and then soak it in wd40!

Try a Dremmel to cut a slot for a straight screwdriver

Cut slot in it for flat head as said. If that still doesn't work the drill it out.

I have in the past, got rid of the other screws and then actually rotated the hanger to get the remaining screw moving. This only works on hangers that dont sit upto a shoulder or in a recess if you see what i mean.
