PS That is only mountain biking and not the 5,000 miles of road riding to get to work etc...
bloody hell guys some big distances on there!!
im only 801km and 26k mtr climbed, i try to average 2 rides a week but time isnt on my side with two little ones.
but well done guys
If by winning you mean 2nd then yeah
1st of the losers :).
Suffering from a broken hand just now which isn't great. Your only a 1000 ahead of me but i've nearly doubled your climbing so need to find more flat roads. Goal 12-13k for me this year which should be achievable. About to go into winter mode
19.5 full days in the Saddle. I'm guessing you don't work?
no, work 50-60 hours a week in a pretty full on job starting from as early as 5am and finishing as late as 2am. Just like riding thats all and prefer to ride than watch guff on tv

Nearly all road.
Really can't be arsed with pushing buttons every time I get on and off a bike but my ancient cycle computers usually total about 4500 miles each year with about 60% being off road.
And we have a winner :p
cant be me, i'm a complete c*nt 🙂

Unfortunately living in the South of the country limits my climbing some what! This month isn't great tbh.

I wish the same could be said for the South West.

yeah ok, should have said South East 😆

Be happy!
I read one of those "people who exercise X minutes a day live Y years longer", where X*365(days/year)*60(years of adult life) < Y(365days/year*24hours/day). Basicly the added lifetime was greater than the exercise required to achieve it, so bike riding is guilt free!

Probably 70% Road (including commuting), 30% MTB. My target for the year was 8000km but looks like I'm going to pass that so I'm happy. 10,000km target next year I think with a lot more climbing.

I don't log most of my commuting, and I barely ride otherwise. My standard commute's 7km per day and I do it 200 times per year. I've never ridden more than 2000 miles in a year and 200 miles is a good month, though I have managed 300 miles in two different months in the last 5 years or so, despite doing 100 miles in a day a few times.
This September, I'm trying to do an hour a day every day. So far I've only missed one day, but I'm averaging more than an hour a day so I've decided that counts. I'm on track to do more this month than any month ever.
