The last couple of weeks the segment explorer map just show as a blue rectangle where the map used to be. It happens on chrome and internet explorer on my work PC, My Mac at home and if I browse strava through safari on my iPhone. Its fine on the iPhone app though and works as it always has. The blue map is zoom and pan-able but no matter how far in or out I go the map never appears. Its like the whole world has been engulfed by the sea.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Andy

I use it occasionally. It's fine in Chrome on Win7 right now. You probably ought to raise a ticket on Strava Support...

Random. I was hoping it wasn't just me seeing as it was on multiple devices and browsers. I'll contact support and use it on my phone for now.

Can you use the search button? does it work? You may need to change your default location
(settings). They have changed something lately and it didn't recognised mine and had a similar problem to yours. That blue rectangle could just be a location in the sea/ocean.

Had an isssue on a friends PC last week whereby the map was being displayed on the far right of the screen meaning most of it was not viewable, cant remember what browser it was. If you haven't already, it might be worth clearing the cache, if that doesn't work reset browser to defaults, dont know if that will help with the issue but it cant hurt.

Chrome (on a chromebook) here working fine, except it think's I'm in Milton Keynes. Just before the map displayed I did see a brief flash of blue rectangle.

Just tried it in Firefox and Chrome, on Windows. Looks like the map starts at 0°N, 0°W, so its in the sea off Africa. You can zoom out, and drag the map to the correct place.
The search box doesn't seem to be working for me.

Thanks for all the replies. I have just been having another look and I reset my location. Its now displaying a map of Milton Keynes and appears to be working as it used to. Better than nothing i just have to pan up the country a bit.
Thanks again.

It's probably recognising only part of your default location now (the UK bit). Maybe try with a larger town close to where you live?
