You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've just got back from doing my first Strava Route however all did not go to plan and ended up cycling through fields of long grass and cow pats as what i thought was a bridleway turned out to be a path.
Is there no way to turn off footpaths? I've gone back and had a look at the map and there is no difference between paths and bridleways, they are both green dotted lines.
Any suggestions? I've also looked at ridewithgps (no bridleways!) and komoot (same as strava)
You could try bikehike, which has a combined google maps and OS map planner?

Try turning the heatmap on, it'll show you whether the path/track is ridden much, if it's a brighter more defined line it's usually ok, if it's faint or non existent there's a good chance it'll be poor, on the other hand you might find a hidden gem of a track.
Obviously this doesn't show you whether the tracks are bridleways or not.
