Just been for my government sanctioned exercise. Decided to stay local, 10 laps of the local field, 300m per lap ish. Recorded on a Garmin watch that is normally very reliable.
The GPS track shows on Garmin connect but not on Strava.
Any ideas why? Or indeed how to fix it?
Strava might be struggling under the demand of its services at this time, last night it took a few minutes for my ~5 mile ride to show any segments.
Aye give it a while to sync.
The activity is there on Strava, it’s picked up the distance but the activity is lacking the map of where I went.
If its not on Strava it didnt happen - you will just have to go and do it again đŸ™‚
On a serious note, I had this happen once before, so I just reloaded it into Strava later and it worked fine. Try that, perhaps when its over loaded it dosent pick up all the data ?
i had a similar problem on wednesday, with strava, and oruxmaps,
so i reset a couple of things, and it worked fine yesterday.
I went to security/location/google location Accuracy, and turned this OFF
Then downloaded GPS Status from google play
IIRC it was Menu/manage gps state/reset and Diagnose Sensors
Also tried aeroplane mode and restart, dont know which move fixed it
So does that help? Am i not the only one with this weird problem?
