[Closed] Strava - flagging a segment

Is it possible to flag a segment rather than just a whole ride? I just created a new segment, and the KOM is averaging 86km/h on a climb - but checking out the whole ride it doesn't seem unreasonable, just a glitch on that segment (the 2nd place took almost a minute, so not ridiculously short). I don't really want to flag the whole ride and lose him all the other achievements (lots of PBs), but I can't see any other way of getting rid of the clearly incorrect segment time.

Apparently if you contact them, they'll remove it for you- messaged them on their facebook about this a while back.

If you flag the ride they have the chance to crop it.
It's a shame you don't get told somebody has flagged your rides, onw of mine was, I only noticed when I found I didn't have the KOM after setting a PB on the segment as someone had flagged my KOM ride - which was ridden legit.

Contact Strava? They'll remove just the offending segment?

I really don't want to mess with somebody's ride when it was all fine until I created a new segment. I'm not sure how they'd go about cropping the ride when the segment is in the middle of it.

I've just had a ride flagged. Is it possible to remove sections of a ride?

I've just had a "ride" flagged, I left the Garmin on after leaving Gisburn. Funny thing is I was driving fairly quick and there was a lot of segments I got KOM on, the first 5 to 10 were similar times so they must of done them in a car 🙂
Leaving it on after Strava asked if it was correct, after all it was a road ride 🙂 🙂

Thats one that you need to get them to do. Drop a support request to them with the point you want to split the ride and then do the fine cropping yourself. I didn't pause it when we got a shuttle on a ride recently.

It's a bit annoying that you can only crop the start and finish. I did an uplift day and when I uploaded the ride, the uplift wasn't a segment, so I figured it'd be OK to leave it. I got a few QOMs that I would quite like to keep. I'll request support tomorrow I think.
