Yeah, especially the first lap!

I'd forgotten it was tomorrow - we need to try and get a solo entry in (not for myself I hasten to add).

What's up with their website -
www.strathpuffer.co.uk

seems like it's expired or do they now use a different one?

No solo for me. I'm going to try and summon an uber-team (which means Huw, that Costa Rican mince-meister and Zoe).

Got a team in the quad, and a solo on the waiting list, now just to keep our fingers crossed that they also get in. Hope we get the same weather as last year too, it was awesome!!

In with a Quad.
Wanted to try it as a pair this year but the wife wasn't keen.
Caravan or camper this year though!
Ends up an expensive one with a couple of hoodies and cycling tops! Man alive!
That said, if it all goes to keeping the event going in the future and allows a decent profit for everyone's hard work then it can't be grudged.

W are in the same situation as you barney. we are looking to get a campervan for the family to go abroad next summer but we also have a very old caravan sitting behind the house which is good enough for these sorts of events as it doesn't matter if it gets wrecked or muddy, ha

as Spokescycles has said, I'm in the pairs this time 'round.
Which was nice, cos my team-mate sorted out the entry whilst I relaxed with a coffee 😉

How fast are you feeling? Will I have to get serious with the training and shun Christmas?

You don't need to cancel Christmas, just calorie control your roast dinner

...and eat it while on the turbo trainer
...outside
...in the rain

😉 😀

All I'll say is I'm glad I didn't get into the trend for white bike bits...

Seriously, looking forward to this in a morbid way. I'm on ebay looking for caravans...

in the bit about the turbo trainer you forgot the bit about getting someone to throw a constant stream of mud at you and then someone else to randomly push you off. oh yes, and be sitting on your turbo trainer since christmas eve. in the dark.

it's currently peeing down here. conditions my so describes as 'ideal'. i did sugg. est the trainer but she said if i did that i'd be being a soft ****er. she's so supportive....

good job you can edit your entrys on SIentrys .....

i thought id like a hoodie - but didnt dare hold up the entry process by filling in useless info like "do you want a hoodie" ... 😉

This any good? I was going to be putting it on eBay next year before the season.

Bit scruffy, but relatively low mileage for that sort of vehicle.

Used it for the last few Puffers.

It was a pig on the View Rock descent - kept having to clear single speeders out of the wheel arches.

Does anyone know ballpark rental prices for a campervan to take 4 sloths?

Has anyone rented one before and can recommend a company?

Would be coming from glasgow btw if that helps.
