Locked the brakeless street bike outside shop, returned to bike cue scattering of youts.

The only thought I had, which made me smile, was that if they nicked it and rode it, they'd hopefully be very injured very quickly.

End.

A fair few years ago, service bikes that had been left unpaid/dumped used to get left against the lamp post outside the chemist opposite. With brake cables 99% cut/steerer sawn through/no qr's or a combination of all 3.
I have a 100% clear conscience.Thieves=scum.They make a choice,any consequences are a product of that choice.

Could you not donate them to charity? Maybe one that helps victims of burglary or something?

Legend 😈

Some sort of booby-trapped seatpost might also work well.

A pressurized gas can in the seat tube linked to the brake lever which fires an 8 inch rusty nail up through the seat when the brake cable is pulled maybe?
