I'm 'thinking' about a 2017 Paddy Wagon drop bar (or an All City Nature Boy 853 - can't bloody decide) and I'd want to upgrade the forks to carbon (along with a few other part swap outs).

Any suggestions on carbon forks that will work well on PW please?

Lynsky do a carbon fork 'endurance' with 1 1/8" straight aluminium steerer. I run one on my Norco search gravel bike.

I also think Whisky do a straight steerer disc fork but it's expensive

I run the Ritchey WCS monocoque forks in the summer and Enigma forks with mudguard eyes in the winter. Both are excellent. The Ritchey forks cost more than the bike.

Upgrading the wheels is a much better investment.

This looks like it could be a decent match?

I'm afraid that I don't now anything about the Paddy Wagon, but looking online it's a road bike.Richey seem to have a variety of straight steerer carbon road forks which might work.

I've used this carbon fork has enough clearance for CX tyres and isn't outrageously expensive.

Handbuilt from Harry Rowland. Mavic open pros with Miche low flang track hubs and sapim spokes. About 280. Not stupid light, but a huge improvement in ride and will be about half a kilo.

And throw away the stock cheap continental tyre too.
