You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Looking for some 700x30(ish) clinchers to put on my Croix de Fer. Wanting something that will handle a bit of everything - mostly road, but also Sustrans type tracks and trails, odd bit of fireroad etc. I'm almost tempted to use the term gravel grinding...
Had my eye on Challenge Strada Biancas - they seem spot on - but can only find them in a tubular flavour. There's also Paselas, but they seem a bit too 'toury'.
Anything out there that I should have a look at?
My Strada Biancas are open tubular. Just a normal clincher with a slightly different construction really. Nice

I realised this about 4 minutes after starting the thread. Doh!
How do you find them? Couple of reviews say they wear quickly?
Not done more than a few hundred miles so no sign of wear yet. Nice ride at 80psi. Come up as 31.6mm on 19mm inner width rims
