Is it ok? Means that I can hang it on the wall and free up floor space.
Store with it 90% up or 90%. That 10% protects against changes in temperature.
Always store ours with the droppers down, have done for as long as I can remember, keeps them out of the way. Bikes are stored vertically hung by the front wheels on the back wall of the garage.
That 10% protects against changes in temperature.
what?
Different droppers work differently though, isn't it.
If you have a dropper that works via a hydraulic piston then a change in temperature can cause the lever action to become stiff. If you leave a little travel spare, when the oil expands due to heat, it just moves the post slightly rather than causing hydraulic lock.
It’s mechanical.

oh, OK, never happened to mine, but I store my bikes indoors, they tend not to have to deal with wide range of temps in an unheated shed/garage
