Hi all,
having started to use clipless pedal i have found that my five ten minaars rub against my cranks which as much as they do get bashed i would rather keep them looking good, so is there anyway of protecting them without completely covering or changing my pedals, as i dont have the money to do so. Is there spacers that can be put in(or any other methods of reducing the rub cheaply) the only prob I can see with this is reducing the pedal thread in the cranks???

Many thanks for the help

I've got one pair of shoes that do this worse than my others and I think it's 'cos the cleats are angled slightly so my heels are further in than my toes and rub.
Doesn't bother me enough to sort it out, but that might be worth looking at.

Other thing would be to try helicopter tape, although you might just peel that off....?

Yeh I have played around with the cleats but with the shoes almost being skate shoes, but it doesnt seem to make much difference. I might give some heiltape a go but have a feeling it might just peel off straight away, but worth a punt.
Cheers guys
