Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Turns out I am not fully covered as my tools are part of my business, and the max claim for a outbuilding is £7500 which won't even cover the bikes.

Stupid of me not to have checked the t & cs of the policy.

The wheels are pretty easy to spot.

Green Spank Oozy 260 trails on Nukeproof hubs with sapim spokes, not an off the shelf wheelset.

Sorry to hear , if tools are under your business, will/won't your business insurance cover them? All the best

No, not insured left in my van, so I wrongly thought they would be covered by my household insurance.

But as business tools they were not, then I find out ( my own fault as i had not fully read the t&Cs ) that when I changed my insurance the garage, as detached, unlike my previous address, did not have full contents insurance and was limited to way below the value of the items stolen.

So with my tools gone, and I am still realising stuff that was taken I will be about £5K out of pocket.

Hopefully some of the tools, bikes, parts might be recovered and I will be able to reclaim them.!!!

Theft, victmless crime my a**e, though despite not coming out at all, the local constabulary did take the time to send me a nice letter and phamplet to help me through my loss.

I'd put money on the fact the gang are from Brizzle...

They nip down the M4 and target the nearby towns. I got done over in Lyneham a few years back.

Set up Google alerts for your bikes and tool makes.

Good luck- Hope insurers are onside.
