Shed broken into last night and 4 bikes stolen:
Salsa Fargo 29er
Specialized Jett Expert 29er
LeMond Etape road bike
Specialized Dolce road bike
Also had a Powercraft compressor taken. The mountain bikes are quite distinctive, can't be that many Fargos around can there? It didn't even have the chain on as I had just replaced the bottom bracket.
Fargo was fairly standard but had a new Chris King BB and no chain, Jett had Stands rims, Hope hubs and a bottle cage mounted on the bars.
Obviously if anyone spots anything suspect please call the police.

Some good news! The police have recovered 3 bikes (the road bikes and the Fargo) and have made some arrests. The Jett 29er is still missing so presumably it has already been sold on. The front wheel from the Fargo has been swapped with the one from the Jett so it looks quite distinctive now:
Specialized Jett Expert 29er, Black/White, frame no WSBC60287875G. Rear wheel is a Stans Crest rim with Hope hub and a "Captain Control" tyre. Front wheel is a DT Swiss X470 rim with gold hub & skewer and Continental Rack King tyre. It must look a bit odd so if you see anything like that please contact the police.

Some good news anyway. I'm just outside Newbury so will keep an eye out for the jett.
Newburys getting a bit rife with this sort of thing now. Bikelux have had several bikes stolen now from someone breaking into the showroom at night and fitting their own pedals to a spark rc and making off with it too someone just walking into the showroom when people were busy with other customers and picking a bike up and riding off with it.
I will keep an eye out over wantage way.
I hope the police bring charges
Another update (more good news!) : 1 person admitted handling stolen goods and given 12 month conditional discharge, 2nd person admitted the theft and given 18 weeks extended to 35 weeks due to another offence, 3rd person is a youth and have to go to youth court in a couple of weeks.
Specialized Jett is still missing, the police think it may still be in the area.

You were really lucky to have some of your bikes recovered. Newbury Plod were complete Keystone Cops when my garage got broken into and my Rocky Mountain ETSX Team got stolen. They sent round 2 part time Special Constables who were clueless and when I saw a scrote riding it up Greenham Road a year later they weren't interested at all, I had to prompt them to take a description of him.
Eitherway as I'm constantly on the look out for my ETSX so I'll also keep an eye out for your Jett.
