You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Some of you will have read earlier that our garage, at home , in North Worcestershire, was broken into early hours today and two high quality mountain bikes have been stolen.
I have calmed down a tiny little bit.
Thank you to everyone who has shared the posts and offered bikes for us to use, or help in so many ways. We have some the the best friends anyone could wish for ❤️
I have deliberately left out some detail, but massive thanks to Tina Wellsbury and Jeff Coopey for their swift actions at about 03.40.🍻
We still want them back and will pay a reward to anyone who’s actions result in the bikes reappearance , either here or via West Mercia Police.
The bikes might not be the only thing there is a price on😉
So, this is what’s gone:
Michelle’s bike: A 2017 Marin Hawk Hill . Grey and turquoise frame . XFusion shock. Rockshox Recon fork. Blue grips. Blue DMR pedals. Slx Cranks. Deore Brakes . 1x11 . Nobby Nic tyres . Brand X dropper post. There are small details which only I know about, but would know this bike anywhere.
This bike is coded and marked by WMP.
My bike: 2015 Giant Reign Advanced 1.
Yellow and turquoise frame. Brown saddle. Silver hubbed Mavic wheels with Shwalbe Magic Mary tyres. 1x11 Xt transmission. Rockshox Pike fork ( matches frame). Hope brakes. Hope pedals. Rockshox Monarch piggy back shock. Giant dropper post. Again there are details which are unique.
I
I realise it’s a very long shot that
these will ever come back.
But we can hope.
Please excuse some of this...it’s copied direct from my Facebook and I am struggling to scroll up and delete some bits....... anyway.....
These things mean a lot to us. Not only were they very expensive, but they are what we do. We work ****ing hard and long hours for those hours of freedom and that doesn’t take into account the hours spent on maintaining them and setting them up just right.
Contact myself, Michelle or West Mercia police if you should by any chance hear, or see anything and please share this as far as you can.
Thank you.
I’ll keep my eyes open online. Jay in Brum.
