You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Sad to say, I've just been the victim of a break in and my road bike has escaped. Luckily I've still got the mountain bikes to keep me going!
But yeah, pretty gutted. Felt ok-ish when it happened (Tuesday 2nd) but absolutely gutted this morning, can't believe my roadie has gone. More than anything because it's going to properly knacker my race season and the bastard thieves won't appreciate the bike at all.
I'm trying to stay optimistic about finding it eventually - Cervelo only made 150 of the Team LE paintjob frames, and it's got a very distinctive build (Tririg brakes + short and tall off-colour stem).
Full spec is outlined below along with some pictures. If anyone has any leads, ideas on where to look (gumtree, ebay, brick lane market), please do reply so I can try to recover my lovely bike!
(This one isn't mine, but looks very similar - in particular the mismatched stem)

I'll keep a lookout for the parts - you could set up a ebay watch list and using gumetree - carry out a search then set the browiser as a bookmark so it brings up new hits everytime you open it. Where was it taken- house or shed? Where are you based?
Gutting.
GET THOSE OTHER BIKES put elsewhere though. IF they think you have a taste for good bikes they may be back.
Where was it stolen?
That's pretty distinctive, where about was it stolen from?
I know it doesn't help with a disrupted race season, and being a limited edition, but any insurance?
Thanks for the replies so far! Bike was stolen from my house in North London (Finsbury Park area) - thieves smashed in the front door and went straight upstairs to get the bike.
Sadly no insurance - I rent with friends and no insurance company would touch a bike that expensive given that I'm living with people other than family 🙁
Hora: Good call - I'll get the other bikes moved ASAP (I've got a couple of options in different buildings so should be able to sort something!)
Looks like they we after that specific bike. They probably knew you had it. Anything else taken?
Yeah I think that's almost certainly the case - they've seen the bike and targeted it. My Strava is set up with a decent-sized privacy zone, so think they must have spotted me on it at some point.
My housemate's laptop went as well, but I think that was opportunistic - MY laptop (which was right next to the bike) and mobile phone (couple of feet away) were both left untouched.

that was robbed to order, the bastards
