Just a reminder it's worth putting your bikes up on this website with as many details as possible. I was just contacting a chap(thief) on gumtree about a bike and due to a couple of details and address prejudice, I thought I'd google stolen giant anyroad and I'm pretty sure it's the same bike. I've contacted the other chap, but it goes through their messenger service.
Isn't there a thing on Twitter for this as well?
Sadly I had to list my stolen Specialized Diverge on there a couple of weeks ago, they now send me daily gumtree / ebay listings matching my descriptions but unfortunately no luck so far.
I'm not sure its something the local scum would be seen riding around on so am guessing it has been sold on or split for parts but I've not even noticed any parts listed for sale yet either.
I'm amazed that people are stupid enough to advertise stolen bikes locally but having read some of the recovery stories on that site clearly they are.
As per the op it's well worth checking the site before parting with your hard earned cash for a second hand bike.
Not sure as I don't use twitter. Where'd your bike get punched from muke? They break through much security? Horrible feeling having been there myself

@stolenride
@ tails I have to accept some of the blame as stupidly it wasn't locked. Spur of the moment stopped outside a shop put bike up against glass front and was inside for less than a minute but that's all it takes. I'm sure they must of been watching me through the window. Chineham shopping centre North Hampshire, CCTV cameras around but apparently according to security they don't work.
Have my two on there, was hoping they had distinct bits about them to find, but not seen anything on the net about them yet.

I posted mine on there after they broke in
Someone was offered it as a swap on Facebook outsell group.100 miles away
They contacted me, I contacted police & i got my bike back
Top site!
Just had an email from the chap who had it stolen . . . He got it back! The biggest shock is with the help of the police!! Made my day. He wants to offer me something, hmmm that new hope hb130 with all the extras seems fair.
Hopefully mine turn up one day, the whyte had some I9 wheels which stand out a bit, and the Focus Jam2 was taken without the charger, so whoever has it won't be going too fast on a 24kg e-bike without any power!
Is the charger easily replaceable? Think that'll be the hardest to shift as they don't often get broken for parts.
Only through ordering via a focus dealer, it's a special male/female pin plug with magnetic connector, so not an easy thing to fudge.
