Kind of predicable I guess with the chain stay mounted caliper position now. Crap goes into the outer from the inner, under gravity. Have loaded with cable lube but don't see an obvious solution. Anyone with similar issues on cable discs ?
Stainless inner wire plus some Rock n Roll Cable Magic and you'll be good for a while.
Tim, have applied Cable Magic on exposed few inches of cable, which is original, with not much use. Might replace inner with something bit better. Ta
Middleburn cable oilers is what you need, slide the o ring back a squirt of wd and you're as good as new
Used cable oilers for years on gear cables with great success but not convinced here, as there is a low spot further up the cable, where its on the chainstay and its a full length outer, so while one direction (backwards) it can clear, the other way it will sludge up.
Happy to be convinced otherwise...
will order a 5mm Cable oiler and report back 🙂
Move somewhere less grim 😛
LOL @ you Grant 🙂
