Im sorry as im sure this has been done many times but extensive googling has made me more confused not less.

I have a 105 rr mech and a cx front mech on 105 levers and i want to put it on flat bars. I have some xt 10sp shifters. Will they work with one or both of the mechs? Im thinking front yes rear no? I need a 10sp rr mtb mech?

Is there a go to website 'shimano shifters for dummies?'

Thanks

10s mtb shifters pull more cable so no. I think mtb front mechs always required more cable pull than road ones but if it's a double you should get it to work obvs.

Na, unfortunately that won't work without some sort of pulley adaptor, and those things appear crazily expensive to me...
