Stem spacer bike light mount?

Mrs_oab rides with a small klikfix bar bag.
New bike has a stem mounted light, which is wired into the bike battery.
I want to moved it halfway down the headtube or more.
The bike has a mudguard mount 'up' the steerer, rather than on the fork crown facing forward.
I am struggling to find a mount that could replace a spacer and drop down the head tube, or of course a bracket which bolts into the small gap between mudguard and fork steerer bolt hole (currently a few mm plastic spacer in there).

Suggestions?

Bike as is:

I've got one of these hanging around the garage that I could send to you

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/lighting-spares/busch-muller-light-bracket-for-fork-crown-254mm-mount/

if there's room inside the fok steerer for a bolt JUST through the front side you could do that then remount the mudguard?

or try something like one of these

I should have looked at SJS - I looked at spa and others instead...thank you.

Thanks for the offer of a mount. The fork unfortunatley is blank at the front - the mounting bolt is vertical inside where the steerer is.

Is flipping the light an option, so the bracket on the stem is pointing up? May cause too large a shadow due to the bag though? Depends on height achievable and forward projection of lens.

It could go up yes....

I also think mrs_oab should swap to a rack bag, but I get one in front is really convenient as you ride along...

Klik make an adaptor that provides a light mount above the bag. For Rixen and Kaul mounts. Multi Clip. It’s OK. Had it on a shopper with removable basket.

When I had a dynamo light fixed just above the front wheel I found the shadows caused by the wheel a problem. I'd be tempted to try to go over the top of the bag if that can be done without a similar problem

Was going to suggest restrap's new light mount, but no good without a mount on the fork

Universal stem faceplate gopro mount (£0.30 from aliexpress) and a pile of gopro inline extensions to lift it over the bag. If its too close the bag will be difficult to remove.

I went through a few options for cam mount on my commute. Tried one that fitted to the stem front plate, but they never had wide enough bolt holes. Cheap verions of this
Also this type of thing - doesn't look like the angle of the dangle would be right for a light though (damn pricey too)
Ended up with one directly on top of the stem, was branded Pro, still got it but have hacked it with a file.

This type of thing, if the light is Garmin mount compatible? See.Sense Beam would work on it

Not sure about mount compatibility but this might work with your existing system as long as its got enough clearance for the light.

Thanks all - I do wonder if the simple solution is just a rack bag at this rate!

I might consider a couple of these things

https://images.app.goo.gl/p5VBCFE3knqYJuQ1A

You could mount it to the bars on the bike, astride the klikfix mount, but orientated nearly fully downwards. Then mount the next one to the first, to drop the lower bar below the barbag.

It might not look pretty, but it will be almost fully hidden, and you can cut down the lengths of the extender bar to a minimal length.

Many of the crown fitted lights have brackets that can be flipped so that they can be mounted under the fork. Would that solve the problem?
