I’ve got the Genesis Fugio 30 and Brother Mehteh. Anything else? Bonus points for 853 or a strong colour (no greys allowed). Double bonus points for a 30.9mm seatpost.

You really need a mountain bike. The absence of frames with these options shows that you're after something very, very niche. Or a mountain bike.

A bit more MTB end of things but a Mason ISO is pretty close.

Interesting to see the direction you go with this RP. My current ‘only’ bike is some kind of road/gravel bike and I am totally happy with it.

Or you might find something in here:

Gravel list from bike packing.com

No promises though!

Thanks. Funnily enough I’m less sure where this is going than @munrobiker seems to be 🙂 Most of my recent questions are just trying to understand things and don’t represent a settled opinion. I’m always happy to be persuaded that I’m wrong (again).

What I do know is that my riding has evolved over the past few years to be less about tech and more about exploring. If that’s 90% off-road then I’m very happy with my FlareMax, but increasingly I’m adding in more road miles mixed with gentle trails where a gravel/adventure bike fits the bill better. But (despite recent posts) I’m not convinced that something that tries to bridge the road/off-road gap won’t just end up being disappointing everywhere. It may be better to go for something with more of a road focus and accept that it will only be enjoyable on tame trails. I’d still keep the FlareMax for exploring off road and “proper” mountain biking anyway.

However, I’ve seen enough reviews claiming that stealth dropper routing is becoming increasingly common on gravel/adventure bikes to at least want to keep that option open.

As a complete build the Marin Nicasio Ridge looks interesting.

My big theft got me to strip back to the riding I do rather than what I’d like to do.

Just pick the sort of bike you enjoy riding the most and ride that. No bike will be best at all things and ultimately it doesn't really matter. If you ride for enjoyment then spend the time on the most enjoyable bike.
My personal choice is a bike that does well on road and gravel but is not great at single track but because I love riding it I just ride it on all terrain (suitable or not)

Madi Cxgr. I think one of the other Masi too but can't think of which one. Giramondo maybe?

Thanks, I hadn’t seen the Masi bikes before. So that’s three that kind-of fit the original brief. I’ve also seen that someone has fitted an internally routed dropper to a Mason Bokeh. Not steel, but man that orange looks good to me 🙂
