I really want to go see this this year.
How easy is it to get to using public transport? I am based in Notts so train to sheffield is easy but how do I get from a train station to the event? Is it possible? I could drive but I have heard it gets super busy so would rather avoid if possible.
You can pedal out from the station, that's what most of the Uni Students do on a regular basis, alternative is the local train from Sheffield to Chapeltown and pedal up from the station
If you are not planning on riding then you can get a bus from the city centre to Grenoside then just a short walk to the race itself.
Traffic wasn't that bad last time I went but it was 3 years ago. It's all good if everybody parks in the farmers field...
Parking was busy last year but it's just the number of people around there really, closer to the time you could probably get a lift up from one of the hundreds of people coming up from sheffield or there is a bus that gets fairly close. If you want to partake in the refreshments then a lift/bus might be a good idea!!
