I need to return my reverb for warranty check. What's the best way to remove?

I read somewhere I just adjust remote to slowest returning position, remove clamp from bar, unscrew remote from cable and pull cable through the frame, re-attach remote. Is it really this simple?

Yes. Although you may need to bleed when reinstalling.

Yes, as above - it can help to avoid needing to rebleed if you're careful to avoid any fluid coming out of either the hose or the remote. Blocking the ends with tape, blob of blu-tack, etc. can help with this.

Yes. Just make sure you unscrew the remote by hand, that way the hose will unthread from the barb rather than you removing the hose and silver threaded insert in one go.

As stevomcd says if you don;t put something over the open end of the hose then it's highly likely that at some point during the removal no matter how careful you are you'll end up knocking the hose and losing some oil.

I guess this isn't a big issue if it's going back under warrant though.

dont forget to tie a piece of string to the end of the hose and pull it through the top of the seat tube.
