So far I've only ever worn shorts (with knee warmers in the winter) but having got completely soaked (and cold) last sunday I'm thinking of getting some Stealth Lite biblongs, but I can't find any info stating whether they've got a pad inside or not.
Anyone care to give their thoughts on these?

They do not have a pad. I think they may be a bit 'marmite' in terms of fit as they lack the stretch of a normal pair of tights. For staying dry I like a 3/4 waterproof short and my choice of bib shorts/warmers or tights underneath.

i have stealth lites and stealth extremes and i must say i prefer to wear the extremes - if its not cold ill end up in 3/4s with windtex leg warmers on !

Lites as said before aint a very tight fit !

They're really nice. As others have said, no pad.

Also have some Lusso Max Repel. Nice when it's cold and dry but when it's raining then I'll use the Stealth Lites every time.

They are designed to go over the top of overshoes or winter boots so the water doesn't fill your shoes up 🙂

That depends on the length of yer legs! I'm 5'10" and my large Stealth Lites go over my neoprene overshoes with a bit to spare. In fact, the tights would probably be long enough on someone a several inches taller.

One thing I've noticed about the Stealth Lites is that they feel a little clammy when it's wet, as if water's got into them. However, when you take them off after a wet ride they're bone dry inside. The Stealth extremes have a fleecy interior so might feel less clammy but a lot hotter. I wish I'd worn them on the ride into work this evening 'cos it's now pissing down outside and I've got an eight mile ride back home in a few minutes 🙁 . Still, for some reason I've got two waterproof jackets with me today so I'll have to improvise 😉

large on a 36 inch inside leg is not long enough to cover overshoes/mw02s - im going with the rubber glove approach
