I've sent Chalet Montana an email to see if they have a room.

Any other places you can think of. Basic is fine, as it's just me. I'm doing a couple of days riding before the family fly into Geneva.

Chalet Montana appears to be now called Ridewell Lodge - same thing?

We used Airbnb for the night last week.

Chalet Genepi was the one we ended up in. It was nice enough. But a bit outside town in montriond.

How about a bivi up the hill. I've done a few night rides there and its an amazing place to be up the mountain late at night. If you get really stuck there is an F1 in Thonon, 40 mins drive. We've stayed there to get an extra day in without paying resort prices. You should be able to get a room though. Probably better off looking at the hotels for a short stay. We had an extra night in Bellvue in Les Gets right by the lift when the wife had a spill an we needed to extend the stay. Booked through booking.com iirc

We used Hotel Sherpa in Morzine when we did the PPDS a couple of years back. About 1500m, from the Plenny lift, clean rooms, we had food included and it was decent enough, bar right next door or short walk in to Morzine centre

Le Tremplin is my choice. Spent 3 nights there recently. Great location, staff are lovely, breakfast was great and the hotel is just great. There's a big underground garage with a bike repair section. Oh and it's exactly 0ft from the Pleney lift. I think I paid £80 per night for b&b
