I now have the cleanest bike shed in the country; the tidiest tool bench; 2 new gorgeous gravel bikes build from old ti 26 frames, 700 wheels and all from the parts bin; 8 bikes clean, sparkling and polished; resisting the urge to go over the bikes again with earbuds.
I've watched hours of adventure films, thanks GCN, pannier and Banff.
my legs are trashed from nightly road runs.
what next ?

Pop round and tidy my shed. I'm WFH with two kids while Mrs LJ is doing her bit in the the NHS. Promise I'll stay two metres away, but I have to warn you, it's in such a state the lockdown may never be long enough.

yep, I have family working in various sectors of the NHS, none of them are actually in medical wards, but all are receiving emails re "redeployment" The next month or two will be unimaginable as the covid wards fill up. my very best wishes and thoughts go out to all in the NHS, they'll need more than a clap in the streets.

I've delayed the shed tidying, as I suspect half of it needs to go to the tip, which is shut.

Plus I know that there are probably enough bits in there to build up one or two bikes, if only there were frames on special offer somewhere.....

@harvey I'd sure like to see some photos of the gravel bikes you've built up!

last day of home school for our 4 tomorrow so once the holidays start I'll maybe get a bit of time to start the garden and garage but like MCTD says a lot will need to go to the dump and its shut.

@harvey

I don't know about anyone else but I can't see any images. Looks like you're trying to share from a Google account, looking at the URL.

the first frame is an old titanium tinbred, it can take 38mm gravel tyres. its a large so has a long top tube, though strangely still fitted my short mate using a stubby stem. the second is a beautiful american frame that i got disc tabs fitted, it can take 40mm nanos, and the last one is my wife's kona hei hei. it is only v brakes because i couldn't deface it by welding on disc tabs. she uses it as a road bike, its just on the 9kg.
