My sons new Zesty frame comes with a BB90 and Direct Mount front 2x mech.
The old bike of donor parts is all 3x9 SLX, apart from Hope Bulb rear hub.
Mrs_Oab needs a new drivetrain (complete) and I am tempted to donate all the SLX to her, and buy a new 2x10 drivetrain based on BB90 for the Zesty.
Your thoughts or experience of doing so? Cost needs to be minimal...

Which bike will get the most use? Put the SLX on the least used.

BB90 on the Zesty takes a standard shimano crankset - the front mech is a weird e-typey sort of thing though.

hmmm, a learning curve. So a new 3x e2 mech and I am sorted...
