Can I get a star fangled nut to fit the bottom of the 1 1/8 steerer on my 2009 fox f120 forks. I have a mud guard that i want to fit but after a quick Google i'm not sure what i need. The mudguard came from my marzocchi shiver sc's in which i just fit a standard star fangled nut but the fox's steerer looks much narrower at the bottom than the top.

A proper star one should fit but you'll need to really bash it in.

An SFN for 1" steerers would probably do the job if it's a lot smaller than the top. I've used one on a 'zocchi (I think) before now.
