Any Stanton Sherpa (esp. MK1) owners running a front mech, and if so what type? Obviously it's 34.9 clamp, top pull but haven't run an MTB front mech for ages so what particularly am I looking for? (This is because it gets loaded up for camping and the Peaks are unforgiving).

XTR M971 here. Very unfashionable 3x9 but it’s still ace in my books. Certainly doesn’t hold me back on the hardtail at least.

If we knew what drivetrain you are running then we might be able to give an exact link to one (i.e. Sram, shimano, 9/10/11 etc)

Currently 1 X 10, XT m790 triple with M780 10sp shifter, Zee 10sp mech and 34t narrow wide ring in middle position. Thinking 36-26 double on the same chainset. Offered up a few but unsure of tyre/chainstay clearance...
