just pulled the pin on a set of these at a ridiculous price.my only concern is the weight limit 0f 190lbs.
Im 210 geared up,but i only do xc round Dalby forest and local loops .im not an agressive rider and dont get many air time .Any help would be welcome
Well let me put your mind at rest. I battered my "all mountain" Crest 29er wheelset yesterday at Afan and I weigh in at 230lbs plus add a 32lb bike and kit. They still run true. However I don't like them.
The easier stuff is not a problem but when you start pushing on the feedback is less precise. The Trigger (29er) is quicker over the ground them my old Spicy (26er) but I'm not happy with the front end and have come to the conclusion that the Crest rims on that type of bike are misplaced.
i have had a set of hope pro 2 evos with crests before and never had a problem.that was on a 120mm/110mm full suss. i now have a trek remedy which is 150mm front and rear.Has anyone had any experiance of these hubs .
