Heading off to the alps in summer and i'm wondering if the current wheels are going to be up for it, hope hubs on ztr 355 rims. I've noticed some slight flex riding locally but its more than made up for in the drop in weight.
Won't be doing any full on DH runs over there (i'll be on a hardtail) but will be riding pretty hard. Worth getting some stronger rims and building them onto a spare set of hubs?
unless you are panning on going nuts you should be fine if they are ok here.

Spare wheels are always handy, but also consider the tyres.
When we went I ran 5.1's with Intense 2.5 front and 2.35 rear, both triple ply - obviously used lifts
