I reinflated my tubeless tyre after not using the bike for a few months, and when I did the Stansfluid started seeping out of the sidewalls, as you can see in this picture.
The tyre is a Specialized Purgatory.
Anybody have any idea why this should happen - I've never seen it before!
For some reason I can't post the image, but you can see it on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/muddymoles/17169020098/
Yeah mine did that too, S-works Storms were much worse! Sealed fine though, no issues since
I've had that but normally on non-tubeless ready tyres. Seems to seal up and then it's all OK.
put more stans in, ride the bike then leave he tyre on its side for 30 mines then swap it over. one of my baron's did that even though the other didn't
i had some tyres do that. put in more jizz, reinflate, it'll be fine. it's just very small holes in the side wall
Just knew this thread would be about Specialized tyres! They all do that, nothing to worry about.
Yah, the tyre by design isn't sealed- it's designed so the sealant seals it once it's fitted. Usually it'll stop after a ride (ime even UST tyres sometimes need to be ridden before they fully seal up but TLR ones and normal tyres generally do)
