This might seem a bit odd, but is there any way to recognize a Stans rim (Flow EX in this case), other than the stickers? An engraving somewhere perhaps?
I was thinking of removing my stickers for ultimate stealthness, and while I appreciate and can live with the fact the second hand value will take a hit from that, I can't help but think that it would be quite a big one if there's no way to distinguish them at all with the stickers gone.
I don't have the wheels with me at the moment so I can't check myself.
No eyelets and depth of channel maybe but...
second hand value
Ride them til you kill them.
You can get replacement stickers for them from stans
Tell them apart from other Stans rims, or from other brands' rims?
Well, telling them apart from other Stans should be a matter of some quick measuring I reckon, so proving that it's actually Stans would be most useful I guess.
I was just thinking there might be a mark somewhere that I had missed - if not, no biggie.
The stickers/logos on Stans rims are terrible. Any sensible owner removes them.
On the other hand I rather like them. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.
