I've got a set of Olympics rims, with yellow tape ready installed. When I bought them they were fitted with rim strips which were a pain when they both gave out halfway through a race.
I'm going to run Bonty Mud X tyres tubeless with sealant, do I need to use the Olympic rim strips and if not is there any reason I should instead of just using valves?

Reading this http://www.justridingalong.com//shop.php?product=41 I take it the rim strip is optional,and you can use the yellow tape and a Stan's valve instead.I run my Crests like that without problems.
