Stans fluid in maxxis tyres has gone grey? Never seen this before! Can I use it in the next tyres or is it a bad idea?

sounds like it's gone off or is going off. Personally I'd refresh it.

Yeah it can go grey.  Even in a new tyre, maybe greyness comes off the rubber as well as from mud.

You can add food colouring to it if you find the grey depressing.

Mine has gone a bit grey in the past, still seemed to do the job.

And some glitter!

Colourful sparkles when a flint slashes your sidewall 🙂

Thanks went for new in one Tyre and grey in the back. Let's see which has problems first.

Mine was grey last time I swapped tyres. Just reused it with a top up and it's been fine.

can you re-use sealant? I presumed it had to be replaced.

If it hasn't gone off, no reason it can't be reused.

It goes grey when soil gets in. Don't change it.

Some of my sealant is on it's third or fourth tyre. It's like an old, slightly sticky, friend now.

Don't dye it as it's really obvious!

At least it hasn't disappeared completely
