Has any one got stans 29er crest wheelset with stans 3.30 hubs? Are they as light as they say they are ? 1570g and are they reasonable build quality? Do they ride well i.e stiff / straight line. As looking to upgrade from giant ptype wheels. Any advice or alternatives gratefully appreciated
Be aware they can be pretty difficult to get tyres on, in a pitched battle with a set of crests at the moment.
I've used the lighter racing gold stans wheels and was very impressed with there stiffness and build quality
But I'm quite light and only used these wheels for xc

I have ridden, and sold both crests and arches in 29
I exceed the crest rider weight limit by around 40 pounds (180 pound limit if i recall correctly) even so they never let me down or buckled. Never noticed any odd flex.
Dead easy to service.
Getting tyres on is not hard, but I keep long handled tyre levers in my workshop.
