They're looking to remove the woodland South of the A27 from the conservation area.

There's some nice riding through there - I can imagine people wanting to build right up to the A27 if the restrictions go...

Also looks like they also want to add Great Wood to the conservation area(big area to the west of the park)... not sure what that would mean for the singletrack there 😕

it's difficult to object on the grounds of possible removal of cheeky trails though, isn't it.

Sometimes I think it's not such a bad thing we don't live forever - to see what we did have and what gets taken away - GRRrrrr !

from looking at the map on the last page of that report the conservation area will be made bigger and never included woodland south of the a27?

am i being stupid or are you guys looking at a different map?

anyhow ita all part of the south downs national park now anyhow so developing on it will be tricky.
