Using 8 speed claris with Giant conduct for cheap but good drop bar fun and it's worked well, but going down hard on cobbles last week one of the shifter windows popped off and vanished.
At some point will upgrade to more gears at the back (though wide range cassette means just missing some of the intermediate cadences so not in any great rush) but in the meantime are these still gettable, or does anyone happen to have any lying around? Not sure if they're the same as Sora or Tiagra.

If they are ST-2300 then there was a separate piece which was part number 6SG 4500 but now obsolete.
If they are ST-2400 then Shimano didn't supply as a separate part, there's no number for it on the exploded diagram.
Thanks both. That SJS link is helpful, though not in this case.
ST-2300s have/had the little thumb levers, as per Campagnolo. It's not that. The Amazon link above looks right but yes, now obsolete. Sora are different (have screws).
Anyone upgraded to hydro and got a set of levers they want to sell?
