Tolla warned me to run a 32x16 (new to SS'ing) but the road bike i pulled out of hedge... i got it down to 42x18, not so nice on the hills.
So i see mention already of 32x16, i will try to gear down a bit this time.

Well, he's 18 in June so 'training' for the, er, social aspect of the event is well under way. Plus SSEC was the first SS event we've been too where he hasn't puked so there's a bit of progress. He is actually riding SS twice a week these days too!
