Hi All,
Probably a dumb question but is a Shimano rear cassette compatable with a Sram chain or vice versa??

Yes, its fine to use a Shimano cassette with a Sram chain. Shimano & Sram components can be mixed and matched with the exception of shifters and deraliers.

I have used a mixture of sram and shimano before and it was fine.
